Merry Christmas friends, come on in! It’s warm and cozy inside. There’s no snow on the ground this year, but we have the fire going and festive scents in the air, so we’ll just pretend it’s a winter wonderland outside. 🙂
This is actually the first Christmas we’ve had in this house with family coming into town! Two years ago it snowed so much that we had to cancel and last year we went to our daughter’s home in Oregon.
Here is a little video of our home below, and then you’ll see all the photos below :).

While 2023 was a pretty crazy year for us with the renovations (and honestly we are still trying to get settled after the 2.5 years of moving — it was so much change), we are SO happy to finally be able to welcome family in for Christmas and just enjoy time together!
Our Christmas decor is quite simple compared to many of the incredible rooms online all decorated for the holidays, but I still wanted to welcome YOU in!! I hope you make yourself at home.
Thank you all so much for all of your kindness and support through the years, I am SO THANKFUL for you! My readers at TIR feel like friends to me, so I appreciate you being here.
I hope you’ll grab a cup of coffee or hot chocolate or tea and have a look around. I will share much more about our renovations, along with before and afters, our upstairs and backyard, and more about the Tiny Cottage in the new year! I won’t add a lot of commentary to this post, but you will find many sources linked if you need them.
I hope you like photos, because there are a LOT of them 🙂 Ha!
If you missed our Tiny Cottage at Christmas tour (which is my parents’ home — attached to ours!) I hope you’ll visit that post to see that tour, too!
I didnt do much decorating upstairs this year, but we did get the bed in ”the snug’ cozy for Christmas guests! I’ll have more to share of our upstairs rooms in 2024. The cross art is a pretty new addition from Lindsay Letters (comes in multiple colors and frame options!).
Wishing you a blessed Christmas, friends, from our home to yours.
